Evan Came running home from school through the back yard with all his Turkey Day paraphernalia. Jake started squealing out the back window to Evan. He loves when Ev comes home. Lucky Boys!

Yea, I thought I was going to get some mixing help? Which he did until he realised it was cookie dough.....Then all he wanted to do was eat the batter. Good thing I wasn't delivering any cookies to friends. He just kept digging his little fingers into the dough! Such cute helper!

I came out from down the hall, Jake had found some headphones and was tuned into Barney like never before. The band aid was from a hurt "finger"??? For some reason he wanted it on his head, go figure?

Evan entered a contest at school called reflections. You could enter in any of the arts arenas. photography, dance, music and art. Evan chose photography. The theme was "WOW." He decided to take pictures of all his friends saying,"WOW." To us it was first place! Great job Evan. He has really taken to the art of photography and loves to capture little moments on film.
We love you Ev.

Some Funny Jake sayings today!
*Jake pouts at almost everything! Though cute....very annoying! So Mommy says often, "Let me see your happy face? -So today at church we waited against the wall for Daddy. The halls were really crowded so I needed the boys to stay right by me. Jake of course gave his token..."Awe!!!" with lower lip out, Mom then replied with, "Jake stop fussing!" -He immediately yelled..."HAPPY FACE, HAPPY FACE!" Evan and I started busting up. No one around us got how funny it was that the little 2 year old corrected him self and showed his HAPPY FACE!
*Then tonight we were all around playing in the T.V. room. The dog scratched at the door and Daddy asked Jake if he'd run and let her out? Jake ran quickly past me to let her out. On the way past me he bent down and picked something up and handed it to me. It was a little tuft of P.J. Hair. Jake said, "Oh No, P.J.'s tail." Then gave it to me and ran to let her out!!!! Evan and I were laughing so hard. :)
Oh that funny Jake!
The Great Pumpkin Smash !!Ready? Set?

Go!

Cool!!!!

OK, well I guess it wasn't as GREAT as we thought...yet fun! Daddy thought it would be cool to throw the Pumpkins out the window?? The boys of course were up for it!

After the very eventful throw....Evan had clean up duty. He said "this stinks"....Yea right, good excuse to try to get out of cleaning up Pumpkin goo.....

It took Jake just 1 house to figure the whole Trick-Or-Treat thing out...Little Karate man was on the run, knocking and yelling trick-or-treat at every house. With his added squeaky "Thank you" at the end! At our house, we went through 4 XL bags of candy. The weather was unbelievable. Long sleeve tees and that's it. I think it was like 68 that night? Crazy, we usually have snow! Easily it could have been in the 20's. The great weather brought extra numbers to the usual car loads of kids. Many houses ran out of candy as early as 7:30.

:) Fun, Fun, Night!

Notice below on the right, there is a pumpkin carved with a little "spit up" accident (house of all boys) .....Jake was a little worried!

Jedi Evan and Batman Bo!

"Hey Ev, let me get a quick picture...

No thanks Mom you have like 50 already!" ...true

Popcorn Party at Jakeys
Most of it landed on the quilt, not in their mouths.
The Dog was cool with that....:)

Sunday morning the boys seem to bounce off the walls!!! So trying to keep peace, Mom decided to embrace the "Couch Fort" option and pop them some fort popcorn. Even calls this our rainbow blanket. My Mom made it for me for Christmas back in like "76. Go polyester...it's still alive and kicking. ( sweet part of this blanket is ...money was tight that year and Mom took some of her more "subtle colored" dresses and made Lynda and I our own quilt. I love this quilt!) After about 10 minutes....it ended in a fight, yet they had fun while it lasted. :)

YES..Karate master...I will do as you wish! Jake was not in the mood to dress up. This was our attempt to get him in a costume. He ended up looking really cute in Evan's old gee. For those American Idol fans out there, you might notice the hair style is a "David Cook" original. He woke up from his nap with the top already roostered...so I just went with it.

Oh don't worry... it's just friendly Jedi Araujo!

I was So Glad Evan wanted to wear this costume again this year. He loves it. At the party he ran around with other boys that had dressed up as, Luke, droids and another fellow Jedi.

Watch out!
Evan the family photographer has the Camera again.... He found Mommy not ready for church yet... ( Sorry no photo of that!) Then he found Dad dressed and looking dapper and found Jake watching T.V. -He also took about 20 pictures of toys in his room. I thought I'd spare you from the details of those photos... :)

You never know who is lurking around the corner with the camera?

Our Halloween NO TOOTH.... "Jajckity-lantern."

After a couple of pictures of the boys. Evan our 7yrd Photographer wanted to take a few shots...good job Evan, they actually turned out! We might have a future photographer on our hands? :)

Fall is here! It was 38 the day this was taken. We shuffled through boxes and found every little glove and hat. We thought snow would be here any day...it ended up just hitting the mountains. It's almost the end of October...no snow yet! We can wait!
